The evaluation of a user interface at its design stage. By simulating products such as a rice cooker, remote control for VCR, portable phone, car navigator, printer driver and so on expressing on the computer screen, we have evaluated "intelligibility" of the user interface at the design stage. Based on the evaluation, the user interface for the product was chosen.
